The Berdyansk Spit protrudes into the Azov Sea for more than twenty kilometers, representing a grandiose sandy beach. Conventionally, the Berdyansk Spit is divided into Near, Middle and Far Spit. The Middle Spit is almost completely occupied by boarding houses and recreation centers, it has its own resort infrastructure - from the market to entertainment venues, and on the Far Spit there is a private sector, where you can also rent accommodation, and many huge beaches, among which you can find quite secluded ones. At the very base of the Berdyansk Spit there is a large water park, which always attracts many vacationers and tourists.

Beaches and the Sea on the Berdyansk Spit

Beautiful sandy beaches stretch along the entire Berdyansk Spit from the open sea, the water in the Azov Sea is clean here, the entrance to the sea is gentle, after twenty or thirty meters it becomes deep. How to Get to the Berdyansk Spit

You can get to the Berdyansk Spit by minibuses and buses of the fifteenth route, which very often depart from the bus station, travel through the central part of Berdyansk, and further, until the very end of the Far Spit. The only thing you should pay attention to is that it can be difficult to leave the Middle and Near Spit towards the end of the day, since the bulk of the buses are filled with those returning from the Far Spit. A pleasure boat also sails from the seaport to the Berdyansk Spit, which makes several trips back and forth during the day, you can also take a short walk along the Azov Sea on it.
